Recently, I had the pleasure of guiding a client who was looking for casual yet trend-conscious pieces that reflect her personal style. Based on her preferences, I recommended a few select stores in Tokyo where quality, design, and style come together. One of them was H by United Arrows-a brand that is highly popular among both locals and tourists. The store is always buzzing with shoppers, and for good reason: their collections are modern, wearable, and thoughtfully curated.

Another detail that made the shopping experience special was the store’s unique interior decor. Throughout the space, you will find bonsai displays-a nod to one of Japan’s timeless traditions that has become quite trendy again. It instantly lifts the mood and adds a sense of calm elegance. For visitors from abroad, it feels like a beautiful fusion of modern fashion and “The Japan” they came to experience.

The bonsai displays, set against stylish clothing, created a modern yet distinctly Japanese vibe. My client, with a Spring colour/color palette, looked radiant in vibrant tones. She tried on a few orange jackets-including one displayed near the bonsai-and the vitamin colours/colors suited her perfectly with her personal colour/color.

She couldn’t help but comment on how beautiful even the staircase was.

At the end of our visit, she spotted a beautiful piece of artwork in one of her best colours/colors – yellow and her face lit up with joy! Colour/color truly has the power to uplift. The vibrant hues in the store, especially the vitamin tones, seemed to catch the eye and boost the shopping mood. She was delighted, and I had a wonderful time sharing this experience with her!

Before we said goodbye, she told me she already wants to come back to Tokyo on her next vacation. Next time, she hopes to try a full makeover-haircut, colour/color, and in-depth body and face analysis. I can’t wait to welcome her again!
