Tokyo’s coffee scene has captivated global travelers for years, thanks to world-class baristas, carefully sourced beans, and the refined craftmanship unique to Japanese culture.
Recently, a solo traveler visited my studio for a personal colour analysis and styling and after the session, she mentioned how being alone during her trip sometimes felt a bit lonely, and asked if I would join her for a coffee. Since she had reached out in advance, I had made time – and we ended up having a lovely conversation over a cup of coffee at Sarutahiko Coffee in Tokyo.

We came across a uniquely named coffee bean: Daikichi Blend. Daikichi means great fortune- it is the best luck you can get in Japan, often found on fortune slips at shrines!
Even little things like this show Sarutahiko Coffee’s playful side and their spirit of hospitality toward international visitors. You can feel how much they care, even in the English labels and charming names.
Around Stylo Tokyo, you will find some wonderful local burger spots and cozy coffee cafes tucked away in the neighborhood. Exploring these local gems gives you a whole new perspective on Tokyo!
